My cocktail is bleeding from the vent (bottom area) how do I stop it?
My cockatiel is only 19 weeks old. She/he flys backwards and seem to always land on its tail feathers. A week ago I had to take her to the vet as she started bleeding at the base of her tail. We think this has happened when she landed (she does have her wings clipped - from the pet store). She was fine for 3 days but has now started bleeding again after flying backwards and landed hard on the floor. What do I do to stop it from bleeding in the future and how do I stop her from flying backwards???
