well i have 4 of them and all of them around 20 cm, but what worries me is that they are not predatory at all!! i have several small fishes 2-3 cm but the hifin id sharks just ignores them!! is there something to worry about???
also all 4 of them never comes to the surface, they always stays at the bottom which cause me some problems as they eat only sinking food!! something to worry about that also?? i feed them sinking carnivore pellets and they do eat well!! any other sinking food you can advise me?? as i want them to have a varied diet!! sorry for asking so many questions but i want to get that clear once for all! plz help!! many thanks in advance!!

they're omnivores, and while they're young they'll probably prefer a diet mixed with greens as well as live/frozen food like bloodworm and brine shrimp. not all fish are top-feeders, it's not unusual for fish not to come to the surface for their dinner.what are you plans for the future of these monster fish? do you have an indoor pond planned?
