Something has been eating our tomatos and we saw some wild cats running from our laundry room which is off the porch that the tomatos are on. Do cats eat veggies?

Different cats eat different things...I had a cat once who went crazy for the smell of bleach! So it wouldn't surprise me if these cats were eating the tomatoes. They must be really hungry.
