The parents of 8 year-old Charlie Spalding, who was a big Simpsons fan, have been told they cannot go ahead with putting the statue on his grave after locals complained. What are your views?

people that complain, have no understanding.
it isnt about how great your local graveyard looks and it isnt about having styles of grave that suit only you.
we all grieve in different ways and whatever the child liked most, (bart simpson in this case) should be acceptable to all. Memories are not about cherubs and angels, or they may be to some people, memories are about the things we did in life and if you feel better by remembering the things that our loved ones liked, then bart simson belongs in that graveyard just as much as a cross or an angel
rest in peace charlie spalding
