The Prime Minister may have said that because of mounting public displeasure over the invading forces presence in Iraq has brought no change in Iraq situation today. Peace is very fragile and seems illusive and the average Iraqis hopes of lasting peace diminished every single day each time they saw invading forces patrolling the streets of Iraq but the killings and fightings never seems to end.They may have also felt that these foreign forces presence has caused deep rift in their community and also believes that only Iraqis can patch up their problems with no foreign interference or intervention.
