Ok check this out. A fox news chicky is talking to another fox news chicky and "Stop picking on Obama's baby momma" (or something like that) is pasted on the bottom of the screen. Check it out--pops up at 1:05 http://youtube.com/watch?v=TvZEZL2LmA8 .... I am for McCain and against Obama tiz true. But the legnth these people go are getting crazy in order to bash the other. CNN and MSNBC are doing the same thing to McCain but it's different when the candidate is an older white man. We're used to seeing that. Obama black swipes are off limits even though they are funny as hell. McCain old man swipes are funny too.
So my question... Do you think any of these sleezy jabs at their opponent are making a difference? Do people actually read this and think "baby momma"? what? he's black? omg!
Or does this crap backfire somehow? Or make no change whatsoever?

I think that if sleaze is abundant in a politicians background it should be aired out or he/she should not run for public office. If people think that the "baby Momma" phrase is racist then they should confront the blacks who came up with the phrase as racist since they're the originators of it. Of course blacks are going to say that they can use the phrase because it is their heritage and whites cannot because it's racist. What a heritage I would say. Maybe they should keep some things about their group quiet. It's not going to backfire because, in Obama's case, it's true. The jabs taken at Obama are true. He was just relying on the ability to hollar racist and have it work but he's found out nobody cares about their false claims of racism any longer. Now he's got to stand with the rest on his on feet instead of having the racist crutch to lean on. In the long run that will be good for blacks or at least for blacks who want to achieve.
