hi -

my mazda 5 is new, w/ 500 miles on it. today is the 1st really hot day since i've had the car, and with the AC on, i noticed that the radiator fan was kicking on every 10-15 seconds, would remain on for like 5 seconds, then shut off, and a few seconds later back on for 5 seconds, then off, and so on, endlessly.

seems like it should just stay on a while.

does this sound normal?

the ac cycles on and off..thats normal...thats the compressor not the fan...are u sure its the fan?? 100% 1 Vote
