I used to work for this company part-time (supplemental income) and now I'm given the opportunity to work from home as a consultant.

However, the job only pays $9 an hour and I would like to know the following:

Percentage wise, HOW MUCH should I save out of my wages to pay for the taxes and the 1099 stuff? That is the question I'd like answered. Is it worth it to take the job?

is it a contractor type of job? .. if it's does then cut 30% off of your pay check to tax both side . employer and employee tax . and search in yahoo answer about contractor job . i think ppl in here have posted some questions about contractor job pro and con also .
