I got the cartilage on both my ears done when I was 15 and I still got them now after almost 7 years. Let me just say that it does slightly hurt but it feels like a sharp, warm pain that only lasts a few seconds. The worst part about this kind of piercing is that it takes a LONG time to heal and it will be sore for a very long time. When I first got it done, I was warned not to remove the piercing for more than an hour because it will close up quick. Unlike my other ear piercings, this one got infected a few times, it hurts at night when I sleep on them sometimes, it hurts when I touch it sometimes, BUT I like them so I put up with all the crap. Good luck to you...! 100% 1 Vote
